Bread is the staple food of the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa, Europe, and in European-derived cultures such as those in the Americas, Australia, and Southern Africa, in contrast to parts of South and East Asia where rice or noodle is the staple. It is generally made with some kind of flour and traditionally it uses a leaven and baked in oven. Although here we are using bread as a general purpose term, which includes cooked flour dishes like roti, tortilla and puri.

Bread provides the essential carbohydrates for a balanced meal. There are a lot of people, who are not satisfied with a meal if it does not have bread. Every cuisine has it in some form or another. There are some, in which it binds the whole meal together like North Indian Cuisine. Then there are some, which start with fresh bread like Italian Cuisine.

Here we have collected some very common bread recipes and some old forgotten bread recipes, some real easy to make and some really hard. So take your pick and make some today.
