Vrat and Fasts are an essential part of Indian religions. Every fast has its dos and donts but most allow a few things in fasts like fruits, nuts, potatoes, milk products and seeds. Some fasts last for 10 days and some are kept for a day only.

When fasts last for 10 days, it becomes challenging to keep your cravings away. One good way to deal with it is to bring variety in the meal. Here are some recipes that I have collected over the years, which will keep you in the fast game without craving for the normal food.
